Upload your high-resolution artwork and we will print your mural on PhotoTex™ - a peel & stick, multi-US patented, adhesive material made of 100% polyester fabric. It can be installed on almost any surface and remain adhered in all-weather conditions. Its dependable adhesive can be removed and reused multiple times without any alteration or loss of StikAbility™. PhotoTex does not shrink, curl, rip or wrinkle in any climate. PhotoTex can be installed for a day or a decade and upon removal, PhotoTex ensures a 99% chance that its adhesive will not leave a sticky residue (see technical bulletins). The fabric material is Class A or 1 fire rated, non-toxic, green and phthalates free.
NOTE: Photo Tex™ is available in two different versions. Read the descriptions below to ensure you select the appropriate version.
The Low-tack adhesive works great for most indoor walls. Will be printed with 1" overlapping tiles. (Not for heavily-textured surfaces, such as brick, cinder block, or rough-cut lumber.)
The High-tack adhesive works great for textured walls (e.g., painted masonry, steel, etc.) eggshell & orange peel paints, and other outdoor applications.
PhotoTex Manufacturer's Note: It is very important that you allow at least 30 days for a newly painted surface to fully cure. Bubbles can occur or the vinyl may peel if the paint is still off-gassing. In addition, to minimize the chances of damage to paint or wall surfaces upon removal of the graphics, ensure all drywall painted surfaces or any repainted surfaces have been properly primed, painted, and cured before installation.
